Brett Johnson is the American designer behind the newly established luxury menswear line called BRETT JOHNSON.

Johnson grew up in a family full of entrepreneurs and early on he knew he possessed a creative, business spirit.

His passion for fashion and aesthetic designs began to develop as a child when he and his family traveled abroad to Italy. He was so fascinated by the intricate architecture and culture of Italy that he too wanted to leave his creative mark on the world through clothing design.

When he was younger, Johnson owned a pair of the wildly popular Nike Air Force Ones. He wanted to make the trendy shoes more unique to his style so he began to collect special fabrics and leathers while traveling abroad to later be assembled on the shoe.

People began to notice how unique Johnson’s Nikes were and he soon began selling customized sneakers for $295 a pair! This, Johnson has said, is the exact moment when he became a fashion designer.

In a nearly two decade career, Johnson has immersed himself in the fashion industry by working with top designers like Donna Karan and Kay Unger. In 2013, Johnson launched the aforementioned BRETT JOHNSON menswear collection- which consists of handcrafted Italian outerwear, knitwear, shirts, and trousers. Johnson crafts his pieces for the modern man and continues to make high quality, timeless designs that exude sophistication.
