Diana Opoti and 100 Days of African Fashion by Essence Gant
Luxe Colore owner and founder Tanya Sotillo has a sixth sense for spotting unique and quality fashions. A few days ago, she put me onto Diana Opoti, African fashion PR maven, and Opoti’s 100 Days of African Fashion campaign. 100 Days of African Fashion is a photo diary of Opoti’s personal style, showcasing African pieces that she’s bought from all over the continent within the last two years.
The head of Kenya’s only fashion PR consultancy says, “I want consumers of fashion to understand that there isn’t one definition for what African fashion is… It is my hope this campaign will inspire people to buy more local fashion.” We were definitely inspired, so much so that we had to share with you a few of our favorite looks! Check them out below, and follow Diana’s 100 day journey at 100DaysOfAfricanFashion.com.
